Job summary

The Hershey Company in Hershey, PA is seeking a Senior Attorney, Global Litigation to lead and shape Hershey's litigation strategy across the organization. You will partner with Legal, Marketing, Regulatory, Sustainability, and other teams to proactively manage risk and protect business interests.

The role requires a JD with 8+ years of experience in complex litigation, strong negotiation and writing skills, and the ability to oversee outside counsel and budgets. Travel as needed is expected.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• At least 8 years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience defending class actions and complex litigation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global litigation strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Manage consumer protection class actions, IP disputes, and other litigation.
• Retain and oversee outside counsel, experts, and vendors.
• Lead discovery, including e-discovery, document review, and depositions.
• Provide practical legal advice on litigation risk and regulatory matters.
• Prepare materials for senior leadership and Board discussions.
