Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking a Senior Attorney, Global Litigation, to protect and advance Hershey's business by managing a broad range of litigation matters and providing strategic counsel across the organization. This role partners with Legal, Marketing, Innovation, Regulatory, Sustainability, Supply Chain, Communications, and business leaders to proactively manage risk and support business objectives.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant legal experience in multinational or public company settings.
• Experience defending class actions and complex commercial litigation.
• Strong ability to provide practical, strategic legal advice.
• Experience managing electronic discovery and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global litigation strategy aligned with business goals.
• Manage litigation matters including consumer protection, IP, employment, government investigations, and insured claims.
• Retain and oversee outside counsel, experts, and vendors.
• Conduct investigations, witness interviews, and early case assessments.
• Lead discovery – e-discovery, document review, witness prep, and depositions.
• Draft pleadings, briefs, legal memoranda, and related correspondence.
• Mentor legal support staff and deliver legal training across the organization.
