Qualified candidates must be admitted to the Florida Bar, have two years of legal experience, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Florida Bar admission.
• Two years of professional experience in the practice of law, legal research, teaching law or in administrative or judicial hearings.
• A valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Advising the Commission on complex legal issues involving permitting, licensure, and compliance with Florida gambling laws.
• Conducting legal research, drafting charging documents and appellate briefs, and engaging in motion practice.
• Representing the Commission in administrative and civil courts; and
• Presenting cases in front of the Commission at scheduled meetings.
