Job summary

The Florida Gaming Control Commission, Office of the General Counsel, is seeking a Senior Attorney in Tallahassee to handle administrative and civil litigation related to Florida's gaming laws. The role requires strong drafting, research, and advocacy skills.

You will advise on permitting, licensure, and compliance, draft charging documents and briefs, represent the Commission in courts, and present cases at Commission meetings, under supervision of the Chief Attorney.

Qualifications

• Admission to the Florida Bar and legal practice experience.
• Experience in administrative or judicial hearings is expected.
• Ability to draft legal documents and manage complex litigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel on matters under the Commission’s jurisdiction.
• Handle administrative and civil litigation, including briefs and motions.
• Represent the Commission in courts and at Commission meetings.
• Work under supervision of the Chief Attorney.
