You will research evolving case law, advise the Deputy General Counsel, participate in training for attorneys, and collaborate across units to ensure compliant, effective legal guidance.

Qualifications

• JD with 5+ years of legal practice experience.
• Indiana Bar Admission in good standing.
• Strong research, writing, and litigation skills.
• Knowledge of statutes, case law, and rules.
• Proficiency with Word, PDF, Canva, and CMS.
• Effective oral and written communication.

Responsabilités

• Research complex legal issues for the Department of Child Services.
• Draft guidance documents and quick-reference materials for frontline staff.
