Our client, a prestigious nationwide law firm, seeks an experienced Senior Attorney – Associate to join the Oregon foreclosure team. The role focuses on managing judicial and non-judicial foreclosure actions, with emphasis on strategic case analysis and client advisory.

The candidate should hold a JD from an accredited law school, a state bar license (Oregon or Washington), 5–10 years in litigation/real estate, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Juris Doctor from accredited law school required.
• Five to ten years of experience in practice of law, preferably litigation/real estate/mortgage law.
• Admission to practice law in Oregon and/or Washington.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

Job description

Our client, a prestigious, nationwide, law firm dedicated to providing legal services to financial institutions, has an immediate need for an experienced Senior Attorney – Associate, to join their winning team in Oregon.

Our candidate of choice will work in our firm’s west coast foreclosure department and will primarily manage judicial and non-judicial foreclosure actions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage cases from inception to completion
• Prepare analysis of case and advise client regarding strategies
• Draft court pleadings, defense of motions
• Attend court hearings, both telephonic and in person
• Other duties and special projects as needed

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Juris Doctor from accredited law school
• Five to Ten years of experience in the practice of law, preferably litigation, real estate or mortgage law
• Admission to practice law in the states of Oregon and/or Washington.
• Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Must be proficient in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet
• Ability to manage and prioritize your caseload
• Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
• Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
• Conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management and attendance
• Takes initiative in face of obstacles and identifies what needs to be done and takes action
• Demonstrates commitment to the Firm’s vision, mission and core values
• Analytical and detail oriented, while working at a face pace and capable of multi-tasking
• Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
