Job summary

Elgen Staffing in Miami, FL seeks an experienced Foreclosure Litigation Attorney – Associate to join a prestigious nationwide firm. You will handle real estate, title, mortgages, foreclosure, and creditor’s rights matters, with heavy emphasis on civil litigation and persuasive advocacy.

Requirements include a JD, Florida bar admission, and the ability to attend in-person hearings as needed. Five years of foreclosure experience preferred; strong communication skills and proficiency with Word,

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor from accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in the state of Florida and maintain all necessary licensing and CLE requirements.
  • Five years of foreclosure experience preferred but will consider all candidates with strong interest in real estate or mortgage law.
  • Knowledge of foreclosure, real estate, secured transactions, evictions and creditor’s rights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in software tools including Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet.
  • Candidate must live in Florida or one of the firm’s other footprint states; candidate must be available and willing to attend in person hearings in Florida, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage foreclosure cases and from inception to completion, including trial.
  • Manage pre-litigation cases and clear title to real property.
  • Research and prepare legal analysis on claims, risk, exposure and strategies.
  • Draft/argue pleadings and motions.
  • Conduct all aspects of discovery.
  • Develop and implement case strategy with supervising partner and client; communicate directly with clients.
  • Attend court hearings, mediation, conferences, etc., via phone, video, and in person, depending on court/client requirements.

Our client, a prestigious, nationwide, law firm dedicated to providing legal services to financial institutions, has an immediate need for an experienced Foreclosure Litigation Attorney – Associate, to join their winning team in Miami.

Our candidate of choice will be responsible for handling matters involving real estate, title, mortgages, foreclosure, and creditor’s rights. You must be self‑motivated and have excellent written and oral advocacy skill and experience with civil litigation. Logical and critical thinking is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
