Job summary

Pacific Cascade Legal is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Oregon team in a full-time, fully remote position. This position is open to attorneys who reside in the state of Oregon and are actively licensed to practice law in Oregon.

Represent clients through all stages of family law matters, draft filings, conduct research, and collaborate with a supportive team. Salary ranges from $90,000 to $115,000 plus monthly bonus opportunities, with comprehensive benefits and remote work

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active admission to the Oregon State Bar required.
  • Must reside in the state of Oregon.
  • Family Law experience.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fully remote environment.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in a variety of Oregon family law matters from initial case strategy through resolution.
  • Manage an active caseload while providing responsive and compassionate client service.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, declarations, correspondence, settlement documents, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and develop effective case strategies.
  • Prepare for and represent clients at hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials.
  • Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys throughout all phases of a case.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in a variety of Oregon family law matters from initial case strategy through resolution.
  • Manage an active caseload while providing responsive and compassionate client service.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, declarations, correspondence, settlement documents, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and develop effective case strategies.
  • Review and analyze discovery, financial records, and other case-related documentation.
  • Prepare for and represent clients at hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials.
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding case strategy, developments, expectations, and next steps.
  • Negotiate with opposing counsel and work toward effective resolutions when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys throughout all phases of a case.
  • Maintain accurate case records, deadlines, and tasks using the Firm’s case management systems.
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients while maintaining professionalism and compassion during difficult family transitions.
Qualifications:
