or LL.B. and bar membership, plus three years post-J.D. experience with at least two years providing legal advice on federal securities laws.

Qualifications

  • J.D. or LL.B. degree and active bar membership in good standing.
  • Bar membership proof required before entry on duty.
  • For SK-14, at least three years post J.D. with relevant legal work and two years advising on securities laws.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal counsel and policy advice on the Securities Act of 1933, the Exchange Act of 1934, and related securities laws.
  • Develop interpretive guidance and assist the public with questions related to these statutes and regulations.
  • Assist Division staff with regulatory analyses, compliance reviews, and preparation of legal documents.
