Job summary

The U.S. Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency seeks a SUPERVISORY ATTORNEY to lead legal services on Federal civilian personnel law, labor law, EEO, and standards of conduct.

The selectee will advise on personnel authorities, anti-discrimination provisions, and HR policy matters, and engage in related litigation and ADR proceedings. Qualified candidates will have a JD/LLB, active bar membership, and 3+ years of professional legal experience, including GS-14 level work.

Qualifications

• Must possess first professional law degree (LL.B. or J.D.). Law school transcripts must be provided.
• Be an active member of the bar of the highest court of a State, U.S. commonwealth, U.S. territory, or D.C.
• Possess 3 years or more of professional legal experience, with one year or more at GS/GG-14.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and legal services on Federal civilian personnel law, labor law, EEO, hiring practices, accommodations, and standards of conduct.
• Advise on personnel authorities, anti-discrimination provisions, and HR policy matters.
• Represent or advise in civilian personnel litigation before MSPB, EEOC, and Federal courts.
• Advocate and negotiate in ADR proceedings.
