Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (STEM).
  • 6+ years of R&D experience in AMO physics, especially atomic clocks.
  • Experience in technical leadership and with customers.
  • Strong written and oral communication, publications or presentations.
  • Ability to work in a diverse team and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with numerical data analysis, regression and curve fitting.
  • Proficiency in Matlab, Creo, SolidWorks and MathCAD; Six Sigma knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Fill a critical role in an atomic clock development program.
  • Develop new atomic sensor technology concepts and demonstrate them in devices.
  • Engage with customers to define needs and provide technical solutions.
  • Grow the technology portfolio and support system performance evaluations.
  • Support design reviews, requirements, and related documents.
  • Perform simulations, data analysis, and test procedures to verify requirements.
  • Communicate technical status to management and external customers.
