Job summary

Datavant is seeking a senior Atlassian Platform Architect to own the technical direction and delivery of Jira, JSM, Confluence, and the broader Atlassian ecosystem. This hands-on role combines enterprise architecture with practical engineering, focusing on secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

You will define target architecture, governance, and data standards, while personally delivering complex automations, integrations, and reporting.

Qualifications

6-8 years experience leading Jira and Atlassian ecosystem in large orgs.
Hands-on Jira Cloud, JSM, workflows, permissions and automation.
Experience with Forge, REST APIs, webhooks and enterprise integrations.
Knowledge of Atlassian Cloud identity, SSO, SAML and security controls.

Responsibilities

Define target architecture and roadmap for Jira, JSM, Confluence and related ecosystem.
Set enterprise standards for data models, workflows and automation.
Lead platform health, remediation of config sprawl and technical debt.
Design and implement complex automations, integrations, and reporting.
Provide technical leadership to Jira admins and governance.
Ensure security, privacy and availability requirements are met.
Collaborate with IT, Security, Compliance and Eng for sustainable solutions.
Drive platform migrations and consolidation initiatives.
