Job summary

Smart Data Solutions is seeking an Atlassian Implementation Developer to lead end-to-end deployment of Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Jira Product Discovery.

You will translate business requirements into scalable Jira configurations, design project schemas, work with stakeholders, and guide the implementation with external teams. Strong communication and Atlassian know-how are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Atlassian implementation experience.
• Experience configuring Jira workflows, fields, screens, and permissions.
• Proven Jira Service Management portal configuration and SLA setup.
• Confluence space administration and templates.
• Experience with Jira Product Discovery for roadmap alignment.
• Ability to translate requirements into technical configurations.
• Familiarity with Atlassian Cloud migrations is a plus.
• Strong communication and workshop facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end internal implementation and configuration of Atlassian products.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into Jira workflows and configurations.
• Design and configure project schemas, workflows, screens, and permission schemes.
• Build and configure JSM service desks including portals, SLAs, and automation rules.
• Set up Confluence spaces, templates, and permissions to support collaboration.
• Implement Jira Product Discovery boards, views, and roadmaps.
• Facilitate internal discovery workshops and requirement sessions.
• Develop internal implementation documentation and training materials.
• Coordinate with offshore team members to divide tasks and ensure consistency.
• Serve as SME and escalation point for Atlassian platform questions.
