Shield AI is seeking a highly technical Atlassian Administrator (Cloud) with deep expertise in API integrations and automation to extend Jira and Confluence capabilities across the enterprise. The role focuses on REST APIs, webhooks, automation, and enterprise system integrations.

This position may be based in San Diego, CA; Dallas, TX; or Washington, D.C., requiring strong DevOps toolchain and IT security awareness for scalable deployments and governance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Atlassian administration experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Atlassian Cloud environments.
• Proven experience with Atlassian REST APIs, webhooks and automation frameworks, ScriptRunner (or similar automation tools).
• Advanced knowledge of Jira workflows, schemes, permissions, and configurations.
• Experience administering Atlassian Access (SSO, SCIM, and security controls).
• Advanced JQL expertise and dashboard/report development.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Atlassian Cloud products (Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence).
• Design, configure, and optimize workflows, schemes, automation rules, and governance controls.
• Develop and maintain REST API integrations, webhooks, and automation solutions.
• Build and manage integrations with enterprise systems (DevOps toolchains, CI/CD platforms, identity providers, and collaboration tools).
• Configure, manage, and support marketplace applications.
• Administer Atlassian Access (SSO, SCIM provisioning, and security policies).
• Design advanced dashboards, complex JQL queries, and executive-level reporting solutions.
• Implement and maintain data synchronization strategies between Atlassian and external systems.
• Perform system audits, health checks, and performance monitoring.
• Develop technical documentation, standards, and integration guidelines.
• Support cloud migrations and post‑migration optimization initiatives.
