Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Tempe, AZ seeks an Automated Test Equipment Engineer to support development, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electro-mechanical test solutions for actuators, valves, and more. The role is onsite, reporting to the Sr Test Engineering Manager, with responsibilities spanning hardware/software selection, validation, documentation, and operator training.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in a technical field and at least 4 years in electrical engineering or test labs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical disciplines such as sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in an electrical engineering and/or integration & test lab environment.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings and troubleshoot electronic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Test procedure review and translate requirements to test equipment specs.
• Select test equipment hardware and program software.
• Validate and verify integrated test solutions.
• Create software documentation and release packages.
• Support root cause and corrective actions for test units/equipment.
• Analyze test data and present findings; incorporate lessons learned.
• Train operators on test equipment; provide quotes for future projects.
