Sorren, Inc. in Idaho is seeking an experienced Assurance professional to lead complex audits and reviews, manage engagements, and mentor a growing team.

You will apply GAAP/GAAS expertise, plan engagements with budgets and staffing, review workpapers, and communicate progress and findings to clients, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery while upholding the firm’s values and client relationships.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of assurance-related experience.
• CPA license or eligible.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Expertise in audit standards and financial reporting frameworks.
• Ability to manage complex engagements and align with firm goals.
• Proficiency in audit software and related tools.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible to work beyond hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex assurance projects including audits, reviews, and agreed-upon procedures.
• Apply GAAP/GAAS to evaluate audit risks and guide strategy.
• Plan engagements by budgets, staffing, and scope; adjust programs as needed.
• Supervise and mentor team members with constructive feedback.
• Monitor project completion for productivity and profitability.
• Review workpapers and financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare management and governance letters for clients.
• Communicate project status and audit issues with clients and team.
• Develop meaningful client relationships and align expectations.
• Participate in professional development and training.
• Meet annual billable hour targets.
