Sorren is seeking an experienced Assurance Senior to lead and supervise large, complex audit engagements in our Idaho office. You’ll apply GAAP/GAAS, mentor staff, and drive high-quality client service across accounting, assurance, and related services.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of assurance experience, a CPA license or eligibility, and a strong foundation in financial reporting frameworks. Willingness to work beyond standard hours is expected.

Formación

• CPA license or eligible required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in assurance-related work.
• Comprehensive understanding of audit standards and financial reporting frameworks.
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform and supervise larger, more complex assurance projects, including audits, reviews, and compilations.
• Address complex accounting issues such as consolidations and going concern assessments.
• Apply thorough knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and other financial reporting frameworks to audit procedures.
• Train, supervise, and delegate work to associates and interns to foster efficiency and team growth.
• Review workpapers, provide feedback, and ensure conclusions are appropriate.
• Customize audit strategies based on identified risks and ensure issues are addressed during planning and performance.
• Analyze financial statements and disclosures for errors or omissions.
• Prepare client correspondence, perform internal control walkthroughs, and handle client inquiries.
• Contribute to engagement budgets and monitor performance against budgets.
• Meet annual billable hour and other targets; manage multiple engagements.
