Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Assurance Senior, Third Party Attestation to lead preparation of SOC/SOC2/3 reports, HITRUST, ISO, CSA STAR, and related attestation work, applying professional standards and validating control environments for diverse clients.

You will document, validate, and assess internal controls, supervise staff, coordinate with client personnel and engagement teams, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables in a fast-paced technology risk practice.

Qualifications

• CPA and/or IT audit certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CIA, CISM) valued
• Two+ years in IT/internal or external audit
• Experience with SOC, WebTrust, HITRUST, SOX, ISO 27001 and security/privacy engagements preferred
• Supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess and document the control environment and client processes
• Design test plans, evaluate deficiencies, and assess overall financial reporting controls
• Prepare communications to Client and Audit Committee
• Review and validate attestation reports and communicate findings
• Provide coaching and supervision to Associates on engagements
