Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Assurance Senior to coordinate day-to-day audit activities, from planning through wrap-up, including GAAP disclosures and internal control assessment. You will act as client contact for basic inquiries and may participate in reviews and agreed-upon procedures engagements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field, CPA eligibility, and strong supervisory skills. California-based on-site work with competitive compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics, required OR Bachelor’s degree in other focus area and CPA certification, required
• CPA eligibility and pursuing exams required
• Master’s degree in Accountancy is preferred

• Coordinate day-to-day audit planning, fieldwork and wrap-up
• Document and assess internal controls and procedures
• Coach and supervise audit staff and engage with managers
• Review SEC/PCAOB guidelines and GAAP disclosures with clients
