Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Assurance Experienced Senior in California to coordinate planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up of audits, including preparing financial statements with disclosures in accordance with GAAP. You will act as the client contact for routine questions and may participate in reviews and agreed-upon procedures.

The role requires deep GAAP knowledge, strong documentation, and leadership of audit staff, with opportunities to drive improvements in internal controls and accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics, required OR CPA certification, required; Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, fieldwork, and wrap-up of audits and reviews.
• Act as client contact for basic questions and information.
• Prepare financial statements with disclosures in accordance with GAAP.
