Job summary

BDO is seeking an Assurance Senior to coordinate day-to-day audit activities, ensure fieldwork is completed on time, and draft financial statements with disclosures. Ideal candidates will have experience in public accounting and CPA eligibility, with strong communication and leadership skills.

The role requires coordinating internal controls, applying GAAP, and communicating with clients. Responsibilities include supervising staff and collaborating with engagement teams on complex accounting

Qualifications

• Two or more years of prior relevant audit experience
• CPA eligibility to sit for exams upon starting employment
• CPA, preferred
• Knowledge of GAAP/GAAS/SOX and professional standards
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinating day-to-day audit plan execution and fieldwork
• Supervising and reviewing audit staff
• Reviewing SEC filings and preparing communications for the Client/Audit Committee
• Planning and executing 404 internal control audits
• Drafting financial statements with disclosures and applying GAAP principles
