Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Assurance Senior to coordinate audit planning, fieldwork and wrap-up, including preparing financial statements with disclosures and applying GAAP. You will be the client contact for basic questions and may participate in reviews and agreed-upon procedures engagements.

The role emphasizes coordinating team efforts, coaching junior staff, and ensuring adherence to audit methodology and quality standards in a Dallas area office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics, or related field with CPA considered.
• Master’s degree in Accountancy is preferred.
• Two+ years of relevant audit experience and basic supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day audit planning, fieldwork and wrap-up activities.
• Prepare financial statements with disclosures and apply GAAP as needed.
• Act as client contact for basic questions and information.
• Review and perform sections of internal control testing and documentation.
