Job summary

BDO USA is seeking an Assurance Experienced Associate in the United States, based in Colorado. You will prepare financial statements with disclosures, apply GAAP, and document and test internal controls while supporting reviews and agreed-upon procedures engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics, required OR Bachelor’s degree in another focus area and CPA certification, required
• Master’s in Accountancy, preferred
• Eligible to sit for CPA exams upon starting employment, required

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements with disclosures and apply GAAP as needed
• Document, validate, test, and assess internal control systems
• Support reviews and agreed-upon procedures engagements
• Apply BDO methodology and ensure proper documentation of work papers
