BDO USA, LLP seeks an Assurance Experienced Associate to prepare financial statements with disclosures, apply GAAP, and document control systems. The role may involve reviews and agreed-upon procedures engagements.

The candidate should have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics or statistics, CPA eligibility, and at least one year of audit experience. Master’s in Accountancy preferred, travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics is required OR Bachelor's in another field with CPA certification, required
• Master's in Accountancy is preferred
• Eligible to sit for CPA exams upon starting employment and actively pursuing completion of exams

Responsabilités

• Prepare financial statements with disclosures and document internal controls
• Support GAAP/GAAS procedures and audit evidence collection
• Contribute to reviews and agreed-upon procedures engagements
• Document and validate control environments across client engagements
• Research accounting topics and discuss conclusions with senior team
