Job summary

Invictus Growth Partners in San Mateo, CA seeks an Investment Associate to source and evaluate deal opportunities in software, cybersecurity, and fintech. You will build relationships with founders, support modeling and diligence, and contribute to investment memos and IC discussions.

You will work directly with senior leadership, gain equity participation, and have exposure to the full investment lifecycle in a lean, high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years in investment banking, growth equity, private equity, management consulting, or a high-growth technology role.
• Strong financial modeling skills including SaaS metrics and valuation methodologies.
• Deep intellectual curiosity about software business models and emerging technology trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize complexity for IC and LP audiences.
• Self-starter with strong ownership mentality and the ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Familiarity with AI-powered research and productivity tools; existing ecosystem network a plus.
• Bachelor's degree required.

With over $1.3B in AUM, we are actively deploying 30M-$100M+ equity checks into bootstrapped and capital-efficient cloud software, cybersecurity, and fintech companies. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role with meaningful responsibility from day one, direct access to senior leadership, equity participation, and a clear path for advancement.
