Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking a Senior Associate to join its valuation and portfolio analytics team in Boston. You will support valuation processes, portfolio reporting, financial analysis, and strategic initiatives while collaborating with investment, finance, and operations leadership.

You will gain broad exposure to private market investments, perform financial modeling, prepare analyses for reporting and investor communications, and mentor junior staff in Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 3+ years in valuation, transaction advisory, investment management, private equity, or related analytics.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; strong communication abilities.
• CFA/MBA or other credentials are a plus; mentoring experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support quarterly valuation analyses across a diverse investment portfolio.
• Perform financial and valuation modeling using various methodologies.
• Prepare analyses and materials for financial reporting and investor communications.
• Conduct industry, market, and benchmarking research.
• Partner with teams to gather and analyze financial information.
• Assist with portfolio monitoring and fund performance reporting.
• Develop presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Present findings clearly and concisely; mentor junior staff in Excel/PowerPoint.
