Job summary

Audax Group in Boston, MA, seeks an Associate for the Portfolio Valuation & Analytics team. You will support private equity valuations, portfolio metrics, and benchmarking across funds, working with Chronograph and finance teams. This role emphasizes data integrity and advanced Excel/PowerPoint use.

The position is based in Boston with a 3 days/week in-office requirement. Base salary range is $80,000–$115,000, plus discretionary incentive potential.

Qualifications

• BS or BA with a high GPA in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related major.
• 3-5 years' experience in an analytical role with financial models/valuations.
• Understanding of investments, LBO/M&A transactions and private company valuations.
• Strong organizational skills and communication abilities.
• Experience with Chronograph, iLevel, Dynamo, PowerBI and Capital IQ is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare valuation models for quarterly updates and coordinate with investment teams.
• Ensure models comply with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Assist in creating quarterly Valuation Committee materials and portfolio metrics reports.
• Maintain quarterly valuation summaries and ensure data integrity across platforms.
• Collaborate with Finance, Analytics, and IT to improve data quality and reporting processes.
