Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a Senior Associate to join transformation services. You will support large, complex engagements with private‑equity leadership, designing and implementing cost‑reduction and performance‑improvement plans for portfolio companies.

Responsibilities include structuring projects, identifying cost savings across structures and back‑office processes, integrating data insights to boost EBITDA, and leading initiatives across multiple workstreams such as margin

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of consulting or industry experience implementing operating‑expense cost‑reduction programs.
• Deep knowledge of an industry vertical is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Structure and manage performance‑improvement plans through to completion.
• Identify cost‑reduction opportunities by redesigning organizational structures, staffing, and back‑office processes.
• Integrate data insights to enhance EBITDA and operating efficiency.
• Implement cost‑reduction initiatives, including workforce changes and process improvements.
• Make strategic recommendations based on findings.
• Lead projects in margins, pricing, product rationalization; S&OP; sourcing and global supply chain; organizational structure; non‑labor cost efficiency; process improvement; SG&A cost reduction; working capital management.
