Job summary

Embark People, LLC in Mesquite, TX is seeking a Senior Associate to perform financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions, including data gathering, manipulation, and EBITDA adjustments. You will build agendas for client meetings and interact with target companies.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, 2–4 years of Big 4/public accounting experience, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills with excellent writing and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
• 2–4 years of Big 4/public accounting experience in audits or related services.
• Experience identifying, calculating, and documenting EBITDA and net working capital adjustments.
• Excellent writing and communication skills; ability to lead meetings with management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions, including data gathering and analysis.
• Build agendas and discussion points for client meetings and target company reviews.
• Identify key accounting issues and deal risks; document quality of earnings adjustments.
• Communicate with internal and external leaders daily; coach junior staff.
• Participate in firm initiatives and recruiting efforts.
