Qualifications

  • 3+ years of public accounting tax experience.
  • Experience preparing and reviewing tax returns.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

About the Opportunity

As a Senior Associate within the Tax Services practice, you'll take ownership of tax engagements from planning through completion while working directly with clients and engagement teams.

Key Responsibilities
Tax Engagement Leadership
  • Lead tax engagements from planning through completion
  • Prepare and review individual, business, and trust tax returns
  • Research and resolve complex tax matters
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
  • Maintain high standards of technical accuracy and quality
Client Service
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Develop an understanding of client businesses and tax needs
  • Communicate tax planning opportunities and recommendations
  • Provide exceptional responsiveness and service
  • Identify opportunities to help clients improve tax efficiency
Team Leadership
  • Supervise, train, and mentor Staff Associates and junior team members
  • Review work performed by engagement team members
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development support

Tax Research & Planning
  • Research and analyze complex tax issues
  • Assist with tax strategy development and planning opportunities
  • Draft responses to tax authority inquiries
  • Stay current on tax law developments and regulatory changes
  • Support clients with proactive tax-saving strategies
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years of public accounting tax experience
