Job summary

Barings is seeking a Senior Associate or Associate Director to support the BDC complex in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on timely, accurate SEC reporting, coordination with the CFO/CAO, and interaction with external auditors.

You will manage 10-Q/10-K filings, maintain control documentation, and assist in quarterly reviews and annual audits, while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and reporting deadlines.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of SEC reporting, financial reporting or related accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Experience with 10-Q/10-K/8-K filings and related disclosures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead month- and quarter-end close and prepare SEC filings.
• Support Form 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K and proxy statement disclosures.
• Coordinate with external auditors for SOX requests and audits.
• Prepare schedules and analyses for board materials and investor presentations.
• Maintain disclosure checklists, calendars and internal controls documentation.
