Job summary

Genentech in South San Francisco is seeking a Technical Development Senior Associate Scientist to develop CHO cell lines expressing antibodies and other therapeutic molecules, using TI expression technology. You will work on CLD, improve TI CLD efficiency, and streamline platform processes.

The ideal candidate has a BS or MS with 2+ years in molecular/cell biology, strong communication skills, and the ability to design and execute experiments independently.

Qualifications

• BS or MS with 2+ years in molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry or related disciplines.
• Experience with stable cell line generation and gene copy number analysis.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop CHO cell lines expressing antibodies or other therapeutic molecules using TI expression technology.
• Improve TI CLD efficiency and streamline TI CLD platform processes.
• Design and execute experiments in parallel with minimal supervision.
