Job summary

Rangam is seeking candidates for a Direct Hire Senior Associate Scientist – Biotherapeutics and Vaccines Analytical Testing for Pfizer in Pearl River, NY. The role conducts qualitative and quantitative analyses of biotherapeutic products and vaccines to ensure quality during manufacture and shelf life.

You will perform method verification/validation/transfer, maintain compliant records, support instrument maintenance, and present data in team meetings while working in a cGMP environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to document accurately and thoroughly.
• Experience with method validation and method transfer processes.
• Ability to extract relevant information from scientific literature.
• Proficiency in recording observations and data during experiments and investigations.
• Solid understanding of biochemistry and compound characterization.
• Experience with spectroscopic/chromatographic techniques or bioassays.
• Familiarity with GMP laboratory operations and logistics.
• Effective verbal and written communication in a team environment.
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses of biotherapeutics and vaccines.
• Perform method verification, qualification, validation, and transfer.
• Maintain GLP/GMP-compliant records and SOP adherence.
• Assist in maintenance and renewal of laboratory instruments and systems.
• Present data in team meetings and contribute to problem solving.
• Work under moderate supervision to support group goals.
• Collaborate with the larger analytical organization to meet deadlines.
• Continuously improve lab safety and practices.
• Troubleshoot analytical assays across various product stages.
