Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Associate in Control Management within the Treasury and CIO Resolution and Recovery Planning team. You will design, test, and evidence controls that support resolution and recovery planning, partnering with business leaders to identify risks and deliver sustainable solutions.

This role emphasizes governance, issue remediation, and strong control frameworks across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Experience in control management, operational risk management, compliance, audit, or related risk and control discipline.
• Ability to design, implement, monitor effective controls with evidence of performance.
• Experience supporting control testing, assurance, and remediation through root cause analysis.
• Ability to conduct process and risk analysis and translate findings into practical, sustainable controls.
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships with executives and process owners.
• Strong written and verbal communication; drafting materials for governance forums.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the global first line of defense lead for Treasury and CIO resolution and recovery planning, acting as a trusted controls partner.
• Assist in the execution of the Control and Operational Risk Evaluation program for resolution and recovery planning.
• Maintain the process, risk, and control inventory to reflect the operational risk profile accurately.
• Partner with the central testing utility to assess control design and performance evaluations.
• Lead top-down risk analysis and real-time control issue detection with urgent remediation.
• Perform lessons-learned analyses on risk events to identify improvements.
• Execute requirements across firm control and compliance programs, including new business initiatives and model risk management.
• Partner with regional business and control partners to drive consistency in the global control environment.
• Respond to inquiries and recommendations from second and third lines in a timely manner.
• Support regulator and other reviews, escalating inquiries as necessary.
• Contribute items for escalation to control committees and forums.
