Job summary

Invesco is seeking a Senior Associate, Portfolio Management to support Portfolio Managers and collaborate across teams in executing separate account strategies for institutional real estate portfolios. You will handle portfolio analysis, client reporting, planning, and performance monitoring to deliver strong investment outcomes and client service.

The role requires 5–7 years of related experience, advanced analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel, Argus, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required; MBA, CFA, or other advanced investment designation is a plus.
• 5-7 years of experience in portfolio/fund management, asset management, real estate investments, underwriting, or related areas.
• Strong understanding of institutional real estate investments and portfolio management principles.
• Advanced financial analysis skills including forecasting, valuation concepts, and financial statement analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional client reports and presentations.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Argus required; Yardi familiarity is an asset.
• Experience leveraging AI productivity tools (e.g., Copilot or Claude).

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of multiple separate account investment strategies and portfolio plans.
• Monitor portfolio and property-level performance; analyze acquisitions, leasing, valuations, capex, financing, and dispositions.
• Coordinate client reporting processes (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Assist with capital calls, client requests, strategic investment planning, and forecasting.
• Prepare board materials, annual reports, and presentations communicating portfolio performance.
• Create and maintain portfolio-level analytics to measure performance, risk, and compliance with objectives.
• Review financial structures and partnership waterfalls for governance compliance.
• Provide ad hoc support for clients, PM teams, and organizational initiatives.
