Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution in Manhattan seeks a Senior Real Estate Litigation Associate to lead landlord-tenant and related real estate disputes with regular NYC court appearances. You will own an active docket, manage case strategy, and interact directly with clients to advance matters.

The ideal candidate has extensive real estate litigation experience, strong drafting and advocacy skills, and a track record of managing matters from intake to resolution.

Responsibilities

• Manage landlord-tenant and related real estate litigation matters from intake through resolution.

• Draft pleadings and motions, and argue motions as required.
• Drive discovery, including demands, responses, depositions, and status reporting.
• Lead case strategy and coordinate with clients and opposing counsel.

The Role

• Manage Real Estate Litigation Matters: Take responsibility for a docket of landlord-tenant and related real estate litigation matters from intake through resolution.
• Appear in NYC Courts: Handle conferences, hearings, appearances, and related proceedings in New York City Housing Court and Civil Court.
• Draft & Argue Motions: Prepare pleadings, motion papers, and other litigation documents while arguing motions as required.
• Drive Discovery: Manage discovery strategy, including demands, responses, depositions, and case status reporting.
• Lead Case Strategy: Handle settlement negotiations, assist with trial preparation, and communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
