Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Senior Associate, Project Management for Operational Data and Performance to oversee onboarding, data management, and performance improvement of operational sites. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and guide data-driven initiatives across multiple teams.

The role requires a bachelor's in a related field and 3+ years in renewables, with PMI/PMBOK/Agile knowledge and experience using Trello, Jira, Planner, AirTable, Tableau, Power BI, SAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, science, business, or similar discipline.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the renewable energy sector
• Minimum 3 years’ leading initiatives for performance improvement across multiple teams and departments
• A Master’s degree can substitute for 2 years of work experience
• Experience in managing complex and multi-faceted projects with multiple deliverables, dependencies, and timelines
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools and best practices, such as PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, etc.
• Expertise in utilizing project management applications and platforms like Trello, Jira, Microsoft Planner, and AirTable.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse stakeholders across different functions and locations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and quality
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
• Certification in project management, such as PMP, CAPM, or PRINCE2, is a plus
• Familiarity with databases (like SQL) and BI tools (such as Tableau, Power BI, or SAP Analytics Cloud) is beneficial
• Familiarity with programming languages (like JavaScript, python) is beneficial
• This position is a office role with some travel and visits to other RWEA officed and field locations
• Must be able to sit, walk, or stand for long durations of time

Responsibilities

• Conduct impromptu meetings as necessary to enhance communication and accelerate issue resolution
• Collaborate with multiple organizational stakeholders to establish clarity and accountability
• Foster connections with peers from engineering, operations, IT, and asset management to ensure prompt action
