RWE Americas, LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Project Procurement Manager of Operations and Governance to own data, reporting, and governance infrastructure for the EPC category. You will design and maintain portfolio dashboards, manage supplier prequalification, and deliver audit-ready insights to support sourcing and contracting decisions.

This hybrid, full-time role requires 7+ years in data management, a Bachelor's in a related field, and experience with Power BI and SAP Ariba.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction or Business Management.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in data management.
• Procurement, supply chain, or procurement operations preferred.
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining shared reporting tools (Power BI, Excel, or similar).
• Direct supplier engagement experience (prequalification, onboarding, or supplier data management).
• Experience with data governance practices; SAP Ariba knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain a single source of truth for project procurement data and reporting.

The Senior Project Procurement Manager of Operations and Governance is responsible for the data, reporting, and governance infrastructure that supports the Project Procurement organization's EPC category management activities. The role owns portfolio-level dashboards, supplier prequalification, and performance scorecard reporting, ensuring leadership, PPMs, and Directors have accurate, timely, and audit-ready information to support sourcing and contracting decisions.

This role is central to transparency and decision quality across the procurement organization, enabling data-driven governance, consistent reporting, and continuous improvement across the EPC category management framework.

Role Responsibilities

• Own and maintain a single source of truth for project procurement data, including RFP, PPP, EPC allocation, VE, and QBR/scorecard reporting
• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards that give leadership, Directors, and PPMs visibility into portfolio-level EPC performance and status, including both executive summary and detailed project-level views
• Own SAP Ariba administration for the team, including configuration, user support, and alignment with procurement workflow needs
• Own the business requirements for the platforms that support the procurement workflow, such as SAP Ariba, contract lifecycle management (CLM), Power BI, and Power Apps. Map how the team works end to end, identify where current systems fall short, and propose system or tool solutions to close those gaps, including the business case and implementation approach, in coordination with IT and Corporate Procurement.Own the EPC supplier prequalification program end to end, including documentation collection, tracking, and resolution of qualification gaps
• Support QBR and leadership reporting cycles, producing performance scorecards and presentation materials on a schedule that allows adequate stakeholder review
• Ensure audit compliance by aligning data structures, naming conventions, and document retention with central procurement governance standards
• Track pipeline volume against procurement capacity and provide forecasting to support capacity planning and prioritization decisions led by the VP and Directors
• Serve as the primary point of contact for procurement data and reporting requests from internal audit, Finance, and Corporate Procurement
• Partner with PPMs, Directors, and the VP to translate reporting needs into clear, decision-ready metrics and dashboards
• Support onboarding and training of team members on procurement data systems and reporting tools
• Continuously improve procurement systems, templates, and reporting processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort
• Evaluate policy and process changes affecting procurement operations and recommend appropriate action to leadership

Job Requirements and Experiences

• Bachelors degree with preference for Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction or Business Management
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in data management
• Procurement, supply chain, or procurement operations preferred
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining shared reporting tools (Power BI, Excel, or similar) used by multiple stakeholders, including managing changes to source data without disrupting downstream reporting
• Proven record of producing accurate, publication-ready deliverables for senior leadership with minimal revision
• Direct supplier engagement experience, such as prequalification, onboarding, or supplier data management
• Experience defining business requirements for procurement, contract management, or reporting systems, and supporting their selection, configuration, or implementation
• Working knowledge of data governance practices, including field definitions, naming conventions, version control, change logs, and reconciliation
• Experience in renewable energy, construction, or capital projects is preferred but not required
• SAP Ariba experience, including SLP, is preferred
• Demonstrate leadership through collaborative influence without authority by actively listening to peers, resolving cross-functional roadblocks, and supporting team members to achieve shared objectives
• Ability to lead and influence matrixed stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Finance, and internal or external Supply Chain to align on sourcing strategies and cost reduction goals
• Thorough knowledge of the early contractor involvement and competitive bid processes of EPC contracts and negotiation techniques
• In-depth understanding of construction and EPC contract structures and typical risk areas
• Solid grasp of project economics, cost breakdown structures, and value drivers
• Experience in drafting, negotiating and contract management of high value and high-risk major construction project contracts
• Knowledge (suppliers, markets, trends) of the renewable energy industry
• Experience in applying efficient procurement processes, structures and analytical tools
• Experience of liaising with senior management within critical departments and building strong relationships
• Highly developed analytical and communication skills, combined with a structured work style and a pragmatic hands‑on approach
• Ability to challenge "conventional" thinking, considers others’ views and convinces with facts considering a proactive approach to overcome resistance
• Strong eye for detail and ensuring accuracy in exchange of information and contracts
• Experience and willingness to work independently in a fast-changing environment and in an international team
• Sound knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Ariba, and SAP. Ability to learn new systems and tools rapidly
• Readiness to travel both nationally and internationally
• Business fluent proficiency in English. Spanish and German language skills are a benefit but not essential

Work Environment

This position is a hybrid office‑based role (three days per week in office + two days remote) with some travel and visits to other RWE/supplier offices and field locations. The employee must be able to sit, walk, or stand for long durations of time. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
