Qualifications

• Seven+ years in private equity, infrastructure investing, or investment banking with digital infrastructure coverage.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus but not required.
• Demonstrated experience leading deal teams and sourcing proprietary investment opportunities.
• Strong technical grounding in LBO modeling, returns analysis, and valuation.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and origination of new digital infrastructure investment opportunities, including data center, fiber, and tower platforms.
• Oversee due diligence across commercial, financial, and technical work streams for potential investments.
• Build and review return models, including IRR and MOIC analyses, and lead valuation work on target assets.
• Negotiate transaction terms and manage execution from term sheet through closing.
• Sit on or support portfolio company boards, monitor performance against the investment thesis, and drive value creation initiatives with management teams.
• Manage and mentor Associates and Vice Presidents, reviewing their work product and overseeing staffing.
• Prepare investment committee materials and present recommendations to Partners.

About Us

We are currently partnered with a leading private equity firm focused on digital infrastructure investing, targeting data center, fiber, tower, and hyperscale assets across North America.

The Role

The team is looking for a Director to help lead digital infrastructure investing. You will source, underwrite, and execute platform and asset level investments, working closely with Partners and Managing Directors on origination, and overseeing portfolio companies after close alongside management teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and origination of new digital infrastructure investment opportunities, including data center, fiber, and tower platforms
• Oversee due diligence across commercial, financial, and technical work streams for potential investments
• Build and review return models, including IRR and MOIC analyses, and lead valuation work on target assets
