Job summary

Ares Management Corporation seeks a Senior Associate for its Investment Operations team to support the private debt platform. You will onboard investments, interpret complex credit documents, and ensure data accuracy across systems.

You will partner with investment professionals, compliance, and technology to streamline processes, improve controls, and scale the platform while delivering timely, high‑quality data for accounting, risk, and reporting.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in investment operations or asset data management.
• Direct experience supporting private debt investments.
• Ability to read and operationalize legal documents.
• Experience with DealCloud, AlphaStream, or similar platforms.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills for reports and presentations.
• Knowledge of private credit instruments and settlement workflows.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret complex investment documentation to identify economic, legal, and operational terms for setup and maintenance.
• Lead onboarding of new private debt investments across internal systems and records platforms.
• Capture and maintain critical deal and security data (issuer, borrower, facility type, rates, maturity, fees, covenants).
• Coordinate with Compliance on legal entity structures and relevant information.
• Collaborate with investment strategies and business teams to define data requirements and fields.
• Leverage platforms to onboard investments and ensure data integrity across lifecycle.
