Job summary

Ares Management Corporation in New York is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Investment Operations team, supporting the private debt platform from onboarding to lifecycle management.

You will work with investment professionals, Portfolio Management, Trading, Legal, Compliance, Fund Accounting, Performance, and Technology to ensure complex investments are captured accurately and data-driven decisions are well-supported from day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5–7 years in investment operations, middle office, or asset data management.
• Experience with private debt and document-driven data capture.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret complex investment documentation for setup and maintenance.
• Lead onboarding of private debt investments across internal systems.
• Capture and maintain deal and security-level data accurately.
• Coordinate with Compliance on legal entity and obligor structures.
• Develop operating procedures and data standards for private debt maintenance.
