National Life Group seeks a Senior Associate, Direct Lending to join the Private Credit team. This role evaluates, executes, and manages private credit investments across sponsor-backed and non-sponsor-backed opportunities, performing in-depth credit analysis and financial modeling while coordinating with internal and external partners.

The candidate should be an investment professional with strong analytical and communication skills, thriving in a collaborative, high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field is required.
• Minimum of two years in private credit, private equity, investment banking, or similar.
• Experience in credit analysis, financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction execution.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive credit analysis and due diligence on investments.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models and cash flow analyses.
• Prepare memoranda and analyses for investment committees.
• Evaluate and execute private credit investment opportunities with partners.
• Monitor portfolio performance and covenant compliance.
