Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering/physics with relevant experience.
• Ability to work on-site in a classified lab daily.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance or clearable is required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, integrate, and test photonic and electro‑optic subassemblies per drawings and build docs.
• Interpret and apply engineering processes and procedures for hardware builds and troubleshooting.
• Support optical, electrical, and mechanical test activities using lab instrumentation.
• Execute fiber‑optic handling, optical alignment, bonding, soldering and other precision tasks.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to communicate status and align on milestones.
• Develop or refine work instructions and test procedures to improve accuracy and repeatability.
• Maintain a clean, organized, high‑reliability laboratory workspace.
