KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Paralegal - Government Contracting to join our the Legal, Regulatory and Compliance team.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform substantive review of all documents submitted for legal review, including but not limited to, solicitations, contracts, non-disclosure agreements, business associate agreements, engagement letters, data security agreements and policies.
  2. Manage work intake and assignment process and address questions raised by stakeholders (such as client-facing teams, business enablement teams).
  3. Serve as liaison to outside counsel to ensure compliance with Office of General Counsel (OGC) processes, procedures, and policies.
  4. Participate actively in OGC technology initiatives to ensure that new platforms are fit for purpose, and existing platform enhancements improve functionality, as well as efficiencies, and provide guidance to OGC, and other stakeholders on such efforts.
  5. Assume additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
  1. Minimum three years of recent experience working as a paralegal or similar role with in-house counsel or a law firm, and knowledge of basic business software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  2. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or minimum five years of paralegal or equivalent type of recent experience.
  3. Experience with government contracting matters and/or ServiceNow workflow tools and ebilling platforms is preferred.
  4. Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail; demonstrated ability to work within a team environment that is fast-paced, as well as demanding, and manage/motivate individuals outside of direct reporting lines.
  5. Sound professional and ethical judgment, tact, and initiative to make independent decisions when necessary; ability to multitask and prioritize a diversified workload, meeting established deadlines with minimal supervision.
  6. Exceptional written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, active listener.

California Salary Range: $70,900 - $143,500
