The role involves advising banks, leasing companies, airlines, investors, traders and manufacturers on aviation finance, including financing, leasing, trading, restructuring, enforcement and joint‑venture creation.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on the interpretation of secured, unsecured and guaranteed financing documents, including security interests under Article9 of the UCC and the CapeTown Convention.
• Draft and negotiate credit agreements, indentures, leases, purchase agreements and related documentation.
• Manage and close aviation‑related financing transactions typically $100+million.
• Provide oral and written analysis to clients.
• Support export‑credit‑agency‑backed financing and capital markets transactions.

Qualifications

• Large law firm experience managing multiple internal and external clients and matters simultaneously.
• Strong academic background with exceptional drafting, negotiating and organizational skills.
• Experience in the aviation finance and leasing industry and related corporate matters.
• Member in good standing of the NewYork bar.

Pay range: $390,000–$435,000 (dependent on skill set and experience). The position offers the opportunity to work independently while contributing to a cohesive team.
