Job Description:
The Senior Associate, Onboarding Specialist is designed to support a best-in-class new hire experience at HITT. This role will be the primary contact for new hires nationwide, their hiring managers, and various internal business stakeholders to ensure a seamless experience from signed offer to start date. This individual will guide new hires through pre-employment requirements, ensure managers are equipped to successfully onboard a new team member, and answer any questions or concerns throughout this phase.
The Senior Associate, Onboarding Specialist contributes to our overall engagement strategy and is responsible for leading and facilitating new hire orientation for in-person at our headquarters and overseeing our regional virtual orientation program, facilitated by an Associate level direct report. This role will help to familiarize new hires with our history and mission, culture and values, leadership team and work types. After day one, the Senior Associate, Onboarding Specialist will support the assimilation of our new hires to HITT's policies and protocols, their job responsibilities, and our various tools and resources to ensure their ultimate success and productivity.
The successful candidate will be empathetic, caring, and passionate about the holistic employee experience. They will be resourceful and a quick learner, and comfortable juggling multiple projects at once. This role requires excellent attention to detail and organization skills, as well as a keen eye for creating meaningful experiences.
This role reports to the Senior Manager, HR Compliance within the Human Resources department and will partner closely with our Recruiting team, HR Business Partners, and Talent Development team to gather and assess new hire feedback and execute future improvements to their experience.
In accordance with Virginia Senate Bill 215 (SB 215), the base salary range for this position is:
$77,000.00 - $112,000.00
