Mourant in Guernsey seeks a Senior Associate to join our offshore practice, advising local and international clients on complex corporate, business and finance matters, including financial services, regulatory and funds. You will take ownership of matters and build strong client relationships.

You will mentor junior colleagues, lead transaction teams, ensure timely delivery and contribute to the continued growth of the team in a collaborative, client‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Ideally five years PQE.
• Experience across corporate, business and finance, financial services, regulatory, insolvency, restructuring, IP or funds law.
• Proven ability to provide practical, commercially focused advice.

Responsabilités

• Advise clients on broad range of legal matters and prepare documentation.
• Review third-party legal documents and provide comments.
• Manage own caseload and lead transaction teams.
• Act as primary contact for clients and intermediaries.
• Supervise and mentor junior fee earners.
• Ensure efficient matter management including engagement terms, due diligence, time recording and billing.
• Deliver high-quality work within agreed timeframes.
• Maintain technical expertise and contribute to wider team initiatives.
