Job summary

Teneo is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Transactions & Strategic Situations (TSS) team in New York. You will support clients through high-stakes situations including M&A and IPOs, delivering strategic communications programs and high-quality work across the firm’s global network.

The role emphasizes managing client workstreams, drafting materials, monitoring market developments, and supporting business development in a fast-paced environment. Based in NYC with in-office requirements.

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years of experience in financial communications or related field.
• Experience with M&A, restructurings or capital markets.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and MS Office; interest in AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of communications strategies for M&A, restructurings, IPOs and capital markets.
• Manage day-to-day client workstreams and ensure high-quality deliverables on time.
• Draft and refine materials including strategic plans, messaging, press releases and Q&A.
• Research company, industry and market trends to generate actionable insights.
• Collaborate across teams and geographies to bring broader capabilities to engagements.
