Job summary

Teneo is seeking a Manager/Associate Director in our North Financial Advisory team in New York. You will work with senior practitioners advising boards, lenders and shareholders of underperforming companies, leading workstreams and mentoring junior staff.

You will develop insolvency strategies, deliver financial advisory assignments and coordinate with legal teams to manage documentation and transactions. Strong English, finance skills and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA or equivalent and time/exam qualification.
• Experience in restructuring gained in professional services, consultancy or banking.
• Ability to analyse financial statements and forecast outlooks for clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstreams and manage junior staff during engagements.
• Provide financial restructuring and cash management services.
• Stress-test business plans and develop financial options with teams.
• Deliver high quality deliverables within deadlines.
• Coordinate with legal advisors on documentation and insolvency processes.
• Develop insolvency strategies and oversee asset realisations and reporting.
