Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled cash reconciliation and liquidity specialist to join our investment management team in Illinois. You will reconcile cash and positions across WSO and Aladdin systems, process activity, and resolve discrepancies while maintaining data integrity with external partners.

The role requires strong Excel skills and experience with bank loans and NAV analysis. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in investment services, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience in investment management or financial services
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience preferred
• 5+ years of bank loan-related experience preferred
• Knowledge of Wall Street Office and/or Aladdin strongly preferred
• Organized, detail-oriented, and thorough, with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate between technical and business leaders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with internal teams, external parties, and service providers

Responsibilities

• Reconcile cash and positions with external parties and across Wall Street Office and BlackRock Aladdin systems
• Process activity in Wall Street Office and Aladdin databases
• Research and resolve bank loan cash and position discrepancies in WSO and Aladdin systems
• Provide liquidity for responsible accounts to the trading desk
• Review PNI transactions and positions between WSO and BRS
• Address cash reconciliation inquiries from internal and external parties
• Analyze differences and breaks on positions, accrued income, and cash during NAV analyses
• Liaise between administrative agent banks and custodians
• Review and maintain contract-level information and data consistency with third-party vendors
• Provide loan-related notices and documentation
• Review, request approval, and process borrowing requests
• Review unscheduled commitment reductions
• Review amortization schedules between WSO and Markit reports and address exceptions
• Handle ad hoc requests related to cash and positions data for Bank Loans
